When I was a kid, I was never without a sketchbook.  I loved drawing.  Using shapes and colors to create unique designs never got boring.

I never pursued a career as a fine artist, though.  I did, however, pursue a sales and marketing career that kept me in close contact with the professional art community.  At the Strathmore Paper company in NYC, I helped guide illustrators, graphic designers and fine artists in the proper choice of paper, paint and brush.

I later went on to become an artists’ rep, which furthered my sales, marketing and product expertise while guiding my clients though the process of reproducing and selling their work.

In 2002 I started Back Creek Graphics, a custom print shop where each image is painstakingly reproduced to ensure the closest visual match possible in synergy with my clients’ vision.

From time to time, I still find myself behind an easel with brush in hand, participating once again in the timeless act of creating something out of nothing.
